Please ensure that your spelling, punctuation, and syntax are accurate. The editors of the Dermatology Grand Rounds will focus solely on the formatting of the cases.
Keep in mind that once cases are submitted, they will be available online indefinitely. These cases may appear in search engine results when someone looks up your name, so it’s important to present a quality case, as what we publish will impact your online presence.
Make sure you have obtained patient consent before posting any photographs. Additionally, do not name the image files after the patients to protect their privacy; they would likely not want their images associated with specific conditions when their names are searched. Similarly, avoid naming files after the diseases you are presenting. Part of the challenge for readers is to determine the correct diagnosis, and we do not want the answer to be revealed through mouse-over actions on images.
While we recognize that some submissions may be based on case reports for other journals, we kindly ask you to adjust your submission to align with our format. Please refrain from using the disease name as the title of your submission and avoid revealing the diagnosis in the first half of the presentation.
